Inktober series

A selection of 22 among the 31 created

During this series, I wanted to get over the preconceived idea of various emotions and feelings of the human spectrum. By its mean, I went through a deep reflexion for each artwork. I wanted to go further than drawing a sad person, I wanted to represent sadness itself. Some respected this idea, others didn't, which is why I had to reject a few. I developed a texture that shows fluidity, inspired by ma fascination of water flow that I've always had, by my anatomy observations and by my modelisation classes. This technique has evolved to represent the light level as well as the shape of the subject in the same single trait. It also has the power to represent abstract ideas.
